Hannah Leslie

Hannah Leslie is the Research Lead of Working Group 2: Measurement. Hannah received her MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley; her research interests include causal inference methods and the measurement of unobserved constructs such as health system quality and community social cohesion. Prior to joining the QR lab, Hannah worked on HIV prevention and treatment programs in East Africa and South Africa. Hannah has held several less academic jobs along the way, including gardener (and assistant ultrasound tech) on a sheep farm and chief sculpture cleaner.
